When I take self-portraits, I can’t see what I’m taking or what I’m doing. I once talked to someone who told me they linked their iPad with their camera so they could see what was going on, which would be helpful, but I don’t have an iPad, and often my camera is propped up on a dead tree, or balanced on a pipe, or perched on a rock, so it might not be the best option for me. So because I can’t actually see what I’m doing, I take a bunch of pictures in the same location and hope that I like one of them. But sometimes I like more than one. And then I fuck around with them until I have no idea how I ended up with what I have and can’t decide if I like it but save it anyway. And then I can’t decide which one I like the best. But I don’t want to post all of them because that seems boring, for you. (Tumblr is a lot of reblogging and not a lot of content creation so I try to make the content I do post at least interesting!)
My point is. I can’t decide which one I like the best. Well, I think I like the colour one the best, or the one where I’m leaning against the door frame. Those ones seem less basic. And by basic, I mean boring and typical. /braindump
